Jey and Leif beach wedding at Sandals Grande Antigua
Well the hunt is finally over!
That’s what the cake topper said and that certainly is so for AntiguaBride’s newest couple Leif and Jeyenthi.
And if you can’t pronounce their names, that’s fine with them; his name is Scandinavian and hers is Malaysian. But they are both English. So just pronounce his name like ‘Leaf’ and she is ‘Jey’ like the first letter of her name. smile
It was certainly a very memorable day at Sandals Grande Antigua.
Leif was the cool and calm one sporting a look that was both formal and casual at the same time with a straw coloured suit and white shirt. The perfect blend to ward off the heat of their special day.
Jey is a ton of gorgeous wrapped up in a diminutive body and was a vision of loveliness in a figure hugging full length dress all held together with a lace bodice hung off elegant shoulders with two spaghetti straps. Bejeweled shoes matched a simple yet elegant tiara and a wispy veil caressed her flowing tresses. Her look was stunning!
After the vows, we, of course, had full roam around in the lush gardens at Sandals to get those romantic photos . We began with their ‘first dance’ in the gazebo, under the blue sky and a crystal chandelier. Then we had them try a bit of Croquet. Of course we were all clueless to the game, but it made for some memorable moments. Then came a surprise; a ‘second dance.’ By this time Jey and Leif had overcome their initial shyness and got into the mood as they swirled to the soulful strains of ‘Fly Me to the Moon.’
We are going to make two predictions for this lovely young couple. We of course wish them all the best in their life together both now and for many years to come. But we think that they are going to take up two special hobbies; Croquet and Ballroom Dancing. LOL!
Despite a sudden shower, the day did not disappoint and it ended with a beautiful sunset sky to bless their romantic candle light dinner for just two.
